Day 013 – Another Rough Day
Okay. I had to admit, I didn’t try any new thing today.
It wasn’t a good day. Because it was so cold, I went with my thicker jacket and forgot my train ticket in the other one. Luckily my husband’s ticket was enough to cover my fare. Or else I would have had to line up for a new ticket and miss the train.
The day went okay at work. Time to go home and I went to take the subway to the train station. I got down to the platform and missed one so I waited. And waited and waited. Time was cutting close so I tried to find a payphone and let my husband know I couldn’t make it to the train station on time. We might have to take a later train. It was quite unusual for the subway to take this long at rush hour.
Anyhow, I finally made it to the train station, met up with my husband and got on the later train. Thought the bad day was over, nope… Right after the train left the station before ours, it stopped at the middle of no where. The customer embassortar didn’t have any information aside from the fact that the trains ahead of us had mechanical issue and couldn’t move away from the track. Lovely. We even asked if they could just move the train back slightly to the platform, we could get off and find other ways but she refused. I was pretty sure there were still a few cars of the train at the platform we didn’t move that far before the train completely stopped. We were stuck there for good 45 mins until they figured that they could link up the 3 trains ahead of us to move the one with problems. I felt for the people in the earlier train, they were stuck there over 2 hours.
After we got off, we had to go to the pharmacy to grab some things and picked up some dinner in the mall.
It just felt like a very long day with all the delays and such so i didn’t attempt to try anything new at all. Totally exhuasted.
