Day 050 – Tea for me…
As mentioned the other post, I have picked up some tea from Chicago. (Argo Tea) I didn’t have proper tea pot or tools to try those tea because they didn’t come in a tea bag. I picked up some bags from TNT supermarket yesterday and it seemed to work like a charm.The bag fits just enough tea leafs for the cup and closed pretty well. I was skeptical at first but it seemed none of the tea leaves were able to escape. As for tea, I tried the white tea with persimmon. For those of you that not familiar with persimmon, it’s an orange colour fruit with a really thin skin and quite a distinct texture. Here’s the info on Wikipedia. I love persimmon but it’s hard to find good ones here in Canada.
Back to the tea, I couldn’t quite pinpoint the smell of the tea. It smelled quite sweet but woody in a way. I didn’t add any sugar or honey, it taste slighly sweet but not quite like the fruit. It’s sort of gave me a strange hearty feeling. I normally have tea to relax and it definitely did the trick.
