Day 059 – rooooooomba (iRobot vacuum Part 2)
It’s been a long day and couldn’t believe it’s only Tuesday.
Okay, as mentioned in my other post for testing the iRobot vacuum, I tried it on carpet. I bought it upstairs to our bedroom and gave it a go. It’s definitely less noisy and more bearable watching it as it’s seemed to make less destructive noises. It still was going in a funky pattern as they describe in the booklet. With carpet, at least i could see where it had been and it seemed that it did covered the entire floor some how. It also made under the bed where we never been able to vacuumed before. It filled up pretty quickly after going under the bed so I wasn’t sure if it managed to suck up any more dirt after that.
I had to say this is quite a nifty vacuum. Probably great for people to leave it on while at work. And it’s seemed to be great for going to places where normal vacuum can’t go. There were 2 things I still question though. 1. how well does it clean corner as it is round. It had a brush that comes out supposedly to sweep the corner but I really dont know how well they work. 2. dirt collection compartment seemed to be a bit small. May be that’s why they recommend vacuum often.
Since I already have the Dyson and I am quite happy with it, I don’t think I will have the need to buy this one. I am going to send it over to my mom and see if this works as well as what she exepcts.
