Day 100 – Spring is coming
The past couple days weather have been pretty nice. The sun was out and it was warm. Felt like spring is coming.
Had been really busy and moody. Somehow the sun seemed to have lighten up my mood. I decided to do something for myself to cheer myself up. Picked up a mini green house from Lowes to get started on some planting. The mini greenhouse has 4 tiers and only for $34.99. Not too shabby.
Funny thing was that while I was searching on the internet, I found other places sell a very similar one for at least double the price. Eeeek. I guess I got a pretty good bargain for it.
Somehow the thought of planting flower made me smile. May be I am in the wrong profession. May be I should have been a gardener or florist. I was seaching through the internet and found some seed that I wanted. Will keep you posted on how it go.
I picked up some Plumeria, Himalayan Poppy, Boston Ivy, and one of my favorite flower – Passion Flower. I love the look and smell of plumeria and unfortunately I live in Canada so they are not available. I am hoping I will be successive with the seed.
The greenhouse was super easy to setup. Just as the box said, no tools was required and it only took me like 10mins or less to set it up. I moved it outside and left a thermometer in to see how well it does. Although this couple days have been warm to begin with. I can’t do much until my seeds arrive anyways. Or may be I will just pop by Lowes to pick up some other seeds…..hmmmmm.
