Day 108 – Seeds, seeds, seeds
Super excited. The seeds have arrived!!!
Last week I have decided to order some seeds on ebay and they have arrived. The seller was Seeds & More and they are really efficient. I ordered on the 6th and the seeds were sent on the following Monday. They even threw in an extra item – Pride of Barbados. The package came with detail planting instructions for each type of seeds that I got. Aside from their store on ebay, they have a website where you can order your seeds on line as well.Unfortunately, I haven’t figure out how and where to get a spot in the house to warm up to 70-90F for the passion flower and plumeria so I couldn’t start on that. And for the Boston Ivy, it requires sterilized peat moss which I don’t have so those have to wait as well.
The only one I started was the Himalayan Blue Poppy. All it needed was a moist paper towel, a sealable plastic bag and a fridge. Here we go, let’s the planting begins. In about 4 weeks, I will take them out of the fridge and plant them to a moist seed starting medium…. which i still have to figure out what it is. May be those puck looking thingy?? Will see. I can’t wait to figure out a way to keep my seeds warm so I can get started on the Plumeria and Passion Flower. Will keep you posted on my planting progress.
