Day 119 – What to do??
I was a bit disappointed with myself. I had great plan. I put a budget and schedule together for this vanity renovation. It’s achievable with the time I have while he is gone for the bachelor thing…. but… I simply couldn’t do it. I couldn’t et the stupid tile off. WHY???I wasn’t ready to give up yet so I went to Home Depot to see if they have any “POWER” tools availabe to do the job. They seem to have this sort of drill looking thing with a chisel attachment. Then they show me this hand tools which is like a big scraper. Just so happened I had my mom coming along with me on this adventure, and she said that she has this ice crushing tool that look just like that hand tool. I should give that a try. While I was there, I figure I should look into Plan B stuff as well as time is running out. The painting involve painitng this space above the stair which is quite difficult to reach so I checked if they have any ladders available for the task. Turned out they have this articulating ladder for rent but they also have one sale. The rental one cost approx $50 a day where the one on sale is only $99. Hmmmmm…. If I need it for more than one day, wouldn’t it be a better idea to buy it? I think I am more concern about where to keep it. We already have a short ladder and a super long ladder. To buy this ladder is really just this task. Anyways, I got the info and went home to try my mom’s tool. Unfortunately, FAILED again. The tile just wouldn’t buldge. Stuck good there. So I gave up as time is running out. I simply wouldn’t be able to get this whole project done before he comes home. I then went out to get some paint and start painting the hallway. That was my day…… will continue tomorrow with the painting and figure out how to paint above the stair.
